The Rakes to play London kebab shop!

No need to worry about where to get dinner...

The Rakes are to play a gig at a Turkish kebab shop in east London.

The band will play the show on May 4, with entry by invite only.

Speaking about the show, part of the T-Mobile series of Street Gigs, the band’s frontman Alan Donohoe said: “At Rakes Inc, we’re looking forward to do our first ever gig in a kebab shop – We are looking forward to servings of falafels with hummus.”

He added: “It will be interesting to see what a kebab shop looks like before all the late night revellers pile in from the local Yates’s Bar! Should be a night to remember!”

To be in with a chance of getting on the guestlist, music fans must register online at by midnight on Wednesday April 26.
