The band's trio of New York shows are captured for posterity...

Rapture are to release their first full length live DVD on July 12.

Directed by Patrick Daughters – famous for his work with the band and Yeah Yeah Yeahs – ‘Rapture Are Alive And Well In New York City’ features footage from the punk funkers’ three sold-out homecoming shows at the Bowery Ballroom just before Christmas.

The DVD showcases material from the group’s debut album ‘Echoes’ as well as documenting some of their history with older lesser known tracks such as ‘The Pop Song’ and ‘Modern Romance’ from their earlier recordings.

The performance also includes live favourites ‘Out Of The Races, Onto The Tracks’ and ‘Rock ‘N’ Roll Part 2′ and promo videos for ‘House Of Jealous Lovers’, ‘Sister Saviour’ and ‘Love Is All’.
