The Rapture announce October UK tour – ticket details

New Yorker pop funkers plan six more dates for the autumn

The Rapture have announced a UK tour for October.

The New York pop funkers, who release their third album ‘In The Grace Of Your Love’ on September 5, will play six UK shows in the autumn.

The gigs kick off at Bristol‘s Thekla on October 27 and run until November 3, when the band headline Brighton‘s Coalition.


The Rapture teamed up with Phoenix producer Philippe Zdar for their third LP, which marks their return to DFA Records, the label part run by LCD Soundsystem‘s James Murphy. The sessions took place in Paris and Brooklyn.

Keyboardist Gabriel Andruzzi has previously said the record is going to be “100 times better than the iPad”.

The band are additionally scheduled to play two UK shows in support of the release, at Manchester Club Academy on September 7 and London‘s XOYO the following night (8). They are also booked to play Jersey Live festival on September 4.
