Speaking in 2013, Assisi’s mother Jade Jagger said her father was not too interested by his impending status. “I think making Mick a grandfather obviously had a big impact whereas, now, making him a great-grandfather is no longer particularly fascinating,” she said.

Jagger was hit by the death of partner L’Wren Scott earlier this year. She in her apartment in New York and it has since been confirmed by a coroner that she committed suicide by hanging.

Jagger released a statement following the news and his Rolling Stones bandmates also showed their support for the frontman.
