Guitarist says it's 'high time' the band got together
The guitarist told the Metro that it was “high time” the band got back together again, having been on a break from band duties for the last three years.
“I’d love to do it [Glastonbury],” he said. “I’m always up for the festivals. As far as the Stones are concerned we haven’t had a get-together for three years but it’s high time.”
The band are perennially rumoured to be playing Glastonbury, but for 2011 rumours of headliners including Prince, Coldplay, Radiohead and Kylie Minogue are stronger than those of the veteran rockers potentially playing the June event.
With The Rolling Stones having a break, Wood has spent some of 2010 playing shows with the reformed Faces.
