The Rolling Stones score first Number One album since 1994

'Exile On Main Street' reissue leaps to the top of the charts

The Rolling Stones have topped the UK album chart for the first time tonight (May 23) since 1994 with the re-release of ‘Exile On Main Street’.

The album, which originally topped the charts in 1972, has been remastered and released with a host of bonus tracks, and outsold Faithless‘ new album ‘The Dance’, which is at Number Two. LCD Soundsystem‘s ‘This Is Happening’ also makes the Top Ten, going in at Number Seven.

In the singles chart, B.o.B makes his UK chart debut at Number One with ‘Nothin’ On You’, which pushes last week’s chart topper by Roll Deep to Number Three with ‘Good Times’.
