The veteran band will play three very different shows next August...

THE ROLLING STONES announced their first UK tour in four years this morning (Monday, December 2).

The veteran rock band will play three London shows in August 2003, as part of the European leg of their The Lick tour. The tour includes an intimate gig at the London Astoria. They last toured the UK in 1999.

The Stones are currently on tour in the US, while their compilation album ‘Forty Licks’ is a top seller in the UK album charts.


The UK dates announced today are:

Twickenham stadium (August 23)

London Astoria (August 27)

Wembley Arena (August 29)

The band plan on playing a different set at each gig. Ticket details will be announced on Friday (December 6).
