The Rolling Stones have unveiled an ‘alternate version’ of their 1971 track ‘Dead Flowers’ ahead of their reissue of ‘Sticky Fingers’.
Classic album ‘Sticky Fingers’ will be re-released on June 8 in deluxe and super-deluxe editions containing unreleased bonus tracks. We’ve already heard an acoustic take of ‘Wild Horses’, an extended recording of ‘Can’t You Hear Me Knocking’, now stream a video for the alternate take of ‘Dead Flowers’ below.
Meanwhile, frontman Mick Jagger has said that he is keen to make a new record, either with the band or as a solo album instead.
The Rolling Stones recently kicked off their summer North American tour. The dates are their first since saxophone player Bobby Keys died in December aged 70. Keys was a notable player on ‘Sticky Fingers’.
