THE ROLLING STONES have called off another three concerts, further delaying the start of their European tour while Keith Richards recovers from injuries sustained in a fall at his home.
The affected concerts are Milan (May 30), Barcelona (June 1) and Lyon (June 5). At the moment it is uncertain whether these concerts, along with the four cancelled last week, will be re-scheduled for a later date or not. Neither can it be confirmed when the band will play their first date of the tour as they must await the all-clear from Richards’ doctors. The next date currently surviving on the European itinerary is at Mannheim on June 7.
Keith Richards is still recuperating from his broken ribs at home in Connecticut and is reportedly “feeling much better”. Mick Jagger and Charlie Watts are awaiting developments in the South Of France while Ron Wood has returned to his home in Dublin.
