NME favourites THE SIGHTS have announced details of a new single and a series of UK gigs.

The band, now a three-piece after the departure of keyboardist Nate Cavalieri and bassist Matt Hatch, release ‘Be Like Normal’ on September 8. The flip features a cover of ‘I’m Going To Live The Life I Sing About In My Song’, originally by New Orleans-born gospel legend Mahalia Jackson.

Joining frontman Eddie Baranek and drummer Dave Shettler is old collaborator Bobby Emmet, who covers bass and organ.

The single follows the reissue of their debut album ‘Got What We Want’ and is preceded by three UK dates.
