Viv Albertine writing sequel to ‘Clothes Clothes Clothes, Music Music Music, Boys Boys Boys’

The former member of The Slits will release the new book in the summer of 2016

Viv Albertine is writing a sequel to her memoir Clothes Clothes Clothes, Music Music Music, Boys Boys Boys, which was named Book Of The Year at the NME Awards 2015 with Austin, Texas in February.

A press release states: “Viv Albertine’s brilliant new book picks up where the memoir finished with Viv’s life today, and explores her thoughts on the subjects that have in many ways defined her life: art, fashion, sex, feminism, and the journey from youth into middle age.”

Set for publication in summer 2016, Lee Brackstone, Creative Director of Faber Social has commented: “Publication of Clothes Music Boys was another milestone in the development of the Faber Social list and its success has created a landscape for Viv that she is keen to navigate in her own inimitably fearless fashion. This book is less memoir and more window on the world as Viv sees it today. Every fan of Clothes Music Boys is in for a treat.”
