Yep, Emma Bunton is premiering new material on the Internet...
SPICE GIRL EMMA BUNTON is premiering new material on the Internet – and you can hear it now.
Her new single ‘What Took You So Long’ is the follow-up to ‘What I Am’, Emma’s cover version Tin Tin Out collaboration, which lost out to Geri Halliwell’s ‘Lift Me Up’ in a head-to-head 1999 chart battle, reaching Number Two in the singles chart.
Emma’s premiering the Lene Marlin-esque track, via her newly-launched website emmabunton.net. Fans are requested to submit their name and email address before being able to access the files, though of course fake addresses such as firstname.lastname@example.org will still lead you to the right page.
The single is due for release on April 2, followed by Emma’s debut solo album ‘A Girl Like Me’, currently scheduled for release on April 16.
After solo albums from Geri Halliwell, Melanie C and Melanie B, this just leaves Victoria Beckham, wife of footballer David Beckham, as the only Spice Girl, past or present, to announce firm details of a solo album.
