Spice Girls reunite for first time in nine years

'Girl Power' group kick off world tour in Canada

The Spice Girls‘ classic line-up reunited onstage for the first time in nine years in Vancouver last night (December 2).

The “Girl Power” five-piece played their first show with their full line-up since the Geri Halliwell quit the band in 1998 at the city’s General Motors Place venue.

The band played a set of four “acts” and an encore that mixed hits including ‘2 Become 1’, ‘Wannabe’ and ‘Stop’ along with some of the girls solo material with Mel C singing ‘I Turn To You’ and Halliwell‘s cover of ‘It’s Raining Men’.
