Scary Spice reported to have quit the band after bust-up with Posh...

MEL B has stormed out of the SPICE GIRLS, following a heated row with VICTORIA BECKHAM in which she described her as “a cow”.

According to The Sun newspaper this morning (October 20), the pair haven’t spoken for three months since their fall-out over Scary’s claim that Posh was “unsympathetic” after Virgin decided not to renew her solo contract.

The paper also alleges that Mel was furious over what she saw as the Spice Girls management team’s preferential treatment of Victoria.

The paper quotes a source as saying: “Mel called Victoria ‘a cow’ and has spent the past few weeks looking for new management and PR. Her music career is on hold and she has been concentrating on her TV work.”

The Spices’ career has been on hold since the release of their flop ‘Forever’ album, since which the band decided to take a break and pursue solo projects.

Mel’s solo singing career nosedived after her initial Number One single ‘I Want You Back’, with consecutive singles failing to penetrate the Top Ten. She has since presented ITV talent show ‘This Is My Moment’.

There is currently no official comment from the Spice camp.
