The Stone Roses and Foo Fighters to headline Tennent’s Vital festival – ticket details

Florence And The Machine and The Black Keys are also booked for the Belfast event

The Stone Roses and Foo Fighters will headline the Tennent’s Vital festival in Northern Ireland this August.

The festival will take place at Boucher Road Playing Fields in Belfast on August 21 and 22, with Foo Fighters headlining on August 21 and the reunited Manchester band rounding things off on August 22.

The Black Keys will play directly under the Dave Grohl and co, while Florence And The Machine will perform before The Stone Roses. More acts will be confirmed for the event in the coming weeks.

The event returned last year after going on hiatus in 2007, with Eminem and The Script topping a bill that also included Kaiser Chiefs, Two Door Cinema Club, The Wombats, Jimmy Eat World and Ellie Goulding.

Foo Fighters, Florence And The Machine and The Black Keys will follow their slots at Tennent’s Vital festival by playing Reading And Leeds Festivals a few days later, while The Stone Roses will be fresh from their headline slots at this summer’s V Festival.
