THE STRANGLERS are to be featured in a documentary on BBC RADIO 2 next month.

Sex Pistol Glen Matlock presents the documentary, which will feature all of the band’s original members speaking about their history, including an exclusive interview with frontman Hugh Cornwell. It is the first time since quitting in 1980 that he has agreed to take part in a documentary alongside the rest of the band.

As part of the programme all the core members of the band have agreed to talk about the highs and lows of their career.

In other Stranglers news, seven of the band’s classic albums are to be reissued with bonus tracks, previously unseen photographs and new artwork.

The records, ‘Rattus Norvegicus’, ‘No More Heroes’, ‘Black And White’, ‘Live (X-Cert)’, ‘The Raven’, ‘The Meninblack’ and ‘La Folie’ are released on August 20 via EMI.
