Strokes man buys country house

Albert Hammond Jr explains why he brought a very big house in the country

The StrokesAlbert Hammond Jr has seemingly taken inspiration from Blur‘s 1995 single ‘Country House’ and has bought a very big house in the country.

The guitarist recently showed the New York Post around his new 10-acre 19th Century-style farmhouse in the Catskills, 90 miles north west of his native Manhattan.

Hammond Jr said that a recent car purchase had inspired his new acquisition.
