The Strokes confirmed for summer festival

Massive Attack are playing too

The Strokes and Massive Attack are the latest headliners for the O2 Wireless Festival.

The event, which took place in London’s Hyde Park for the first time last summer, returns to that location in June.

The Strokes will headline on June 21, and will be joined by Belle & Sebastian and Super Furry Animals.

Massive Attack play on June 23. Also confirmed for that day are The Flaming Lips, DJ Shadow and Pharrell Williams.

James Blunt headlines on June 24 with Zero 7, Eels and Nile Rodgers & Chic on the bill.

Depeche Mode headline the final day on June 25, with Goldfrapp and goth veterans Bauhaus also featuring.

In addition to the London shows, there will be a two-day spin-off event taking place in Leeds at Harewood House.

Goldfrapp, Pharrell Williams and DJ Shadow are among the bands performing on June 24, while The Who will headline the following day June 25, with Super Furry Animals and The Flaming Lips also on the bill.

More acts are expected to be announced soon, including the headliner for the first day in Leeds.
