THE STROKES, Queens Of The Stone Age and OASIS are amongst some of the musicians who have donated their microphones to an online auction for the deaf.

As part of the Better Hearing And Speech Month, the event hope to raise $10,000 for the Hearing Aid Music Foundation, and takes place until May 22.

The Strokes‘ mic, signed by Fab Moretti is valued at $60, with Oasisat $71, [/a] at $52.01, [a] at $91 and [a][/a]at $20.50. The auction is being held in conjunction with Shure Incorporated, manufacturer of microphones and audio electronics, and is the second annual Bid for Hearing event.

Jethro Tull frontman Ian Anderson’s mic is currently attracting the highest bid of $360. However, if music lovers find themselves strapped for cash but still want a piece of music history, Wilco’s microphone is currently valued at $2.
