Watch The Strokes’ Nick Valensi make live debut with new band CRX

Guitarist played a gig at Los Angeles' Hi Hat venue on Wednesday (August 17)

The Strokes guitarist Nick Valensi has played his first show with new band CRX.

The group revealed themselves to the world earlier this month (August 1) via a website launch and several posts on social media. As yet, there is no recorded music available from the band.

CRX, who are completed by The Dose drummer Ralph Alexander, Guards and Willowz guitarist Richie James Follin, LA musician Darian Zahedi and The Reflections member Jon Safely, played the first of four headline shows scheduled for this month.

The band’s first ever gig took place at Los Angeles’ The Hi Hat venue on Wednesday (August 17). Watch footage below.

They will now play two shows in New York before heading back to LA for another show.
