Items collected from the likes of The Strokes, Ash and, erm, Jo Guest can be yours...

Memorabilia collected from the likes of Strokes, MUSE, Ash, Starsailor and the Dandy Warhols following last week’s NME CARLING AWARDS are being auctioned on EBAY to raise money for WAR CHILD.

Amongst the peculiar pieces of rock ‘n’ roll detritus ready for purchase are a book of matches from Strokes guitarist Albert Hammond Jnr, a British Airways executive club card from Muse frontman Matt Bellamy and a bottle of champagne from garage starsOxide & Neutrino.

The popularity of comedy hit ‘The Office’ is being borne out as a one pound coin handed over by the show’s co-writer and star Ricky Gervais is now going for £1.70. The most peculiar item available for purchase is a cigarette presented by former glamour model Jo Guest.

NME.COM will provide documentary evidence to prove the authenticity of all the items for slightly sceptical fans and let you know of the the full amount raised when the auction closes in six days’ time.
