The band will kick off a huge jaunt later this month…

THE SUBWAYS are to embark on a full UK tour.

The band will head out on a lengthy jaunt ahead of the March 21 release of their debut single ’Oh Yeah’.

The tour kicks off following their appearance as part of the ShockWaves NME Awards Tour 2005 on February 13 at the London Astoria alongside headliners The Ordinary Boys, The Others and Eastern Lane.

Last year saw the band play triumphant sets at the Glastonbury and Carling Weekend: Reading and Leeds festivals as well as landing themselves support slots with Graham Coxon, Charlotte Hatherley and Von Bondies.
