TREAT FOR SUEDE HEADS!

The band give fans a treat with the track in Sheffield…

The Tears surprised fans last night when they played a lost SUEDE classic.

The band – headed by former Suede members Brett Anderson and Bernard Butler – performed ’The Living Dead’ at their gig at the Sheffield Leadmill (April 19).

The pair launched into the track during their first encore after a set which featured songs from the group’s upcoming album ’Here Come The Tears’.

The setlist included: ’Love As Strong As Death’, ’Beautiful Pain’, ’Brave New Century’, ’Imperfection’, ’Primitive’ and current single ’Refugees’..

[/a] also played two new songs – ’Europe After The Rain’ and ’Branded’.

’Refugees’ was released on Monday (April 18) and will be followed by ’Here Come The Tears’ in June.

[a] continue their UK tour tonight at Wolverhampton Wulfrun Hall (April 20) before heading to Portsmouth Pyramid Centre (22), Liverpool Carling Academy (23), Newcastle University (24) and London Shepherds Bush Empire (May 23).
