The Twilight Sad have equipment stolen from lockup

The band appeals for help in locating the missing gear

Scottish post-punk band The Twilight Sad have had a large amount of equipment stolen from a lockup.

The group revealed the incident through their Facebook page and appealed for information that would help retrieve the missing gear, which includes an Eko black acoustic guitar, a Fender Blues Jr amp and a Orange AD200BMK3 bass head.

“Some nice person has broke into our lock up,” wrote the band. “Please help by sharing and get in touch if you see any of it for sale.”

“If you know who done it let us know so we can kick their teeth in,” they joked before later thanking fans for their messages of support.

The band also assured that their upcoming gigs would be going ahead, which will include performances of some brand new tracks.

“Gutted about our stolen gear but the show must go on!”
