The Vaccines to play surprise gig on NME stage at The Great Escape tonight (May 15)

Band revealed as NME's specical guests for show at Brighton venue The Haunt

The Vaccines have been revealed as the special guests on the NME stage at Brighton venue The Haunt tonight (May 15) as part of The Great Escape festival.

The Vaccines will play at midnight at the 375-capacity Haunt on a bill also featuring Rat Boy, The Big Moon, Yung, Wand, Bully and The Garden. Past bands to play secret gigs on the NME stage at The Great Escape in previous years have included Palma Violets, Fat White Family and Peace.

Other bands playing NME nights at The Great Escape in Brighton from tonight until Saturday include Slaves, Swim Deep, Django Django and Gengahr.

The Vaccines release their third album ‘English Graffiti’ on May 25, produced by Dave Fridmann. It follows 2012’s Come Of Age.

A total of 400 new and established artists will play at The Great Escape this year.
