The Vaccines announce November UK tour dates

Band will play 10 headline dates throughout November

The Vaccines have announced details of a UK tour to take place in November.

The band will release their new album ‘English Graffiti’ in May and will hit the road for a series of 10 dates later this year. The jaunt will begin in Blackpool at the Empress Ballroom venue on November 10 before taking in shows in Plymouth, Cardiff, Bournemouth, Bridlington, Wolverhampton, Brighton and Nottingham.

Two London dates will round off the tour with The Vaccines headlining a pair of nights at the O2 Academy in Brixton on November 22 and 23.

The Vaccines’ forthcoming album ‘English Graffiti’ will be available to download from May 18 and is out physically a week later on May 25. The record was produced by The Vaccines, Dave Fridmann and Cole MGN who has also produced records for Ariel Pink and Beck.

In a recent video interview with NME, Young revealed that the third album “sounds more like a rock record than an indie record – which was one of the big aims… I think it’s an ambitious record as well”. He also says the album is “quite eclectic sounding in terms of song style”. See a video interview with the band below.
