VERVE TO END SUMMER AS KINGS OF THE CASTLE

THE VERVE are headlining the first of a new concert series at an Irish castle...

THE VERVE are to headline the inaugural concert of a new festival fixture set to be an annual event at Slane Castle in County Meath, Ireland.

The picturesque site is the home of Irish peer Lord Henry Mount Charles and in the past its grounds have hosted major outdoor concerts by the likes of U2, The Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan and Van Morrison.

Lord Henry has obtained permission to hold one concert per year for the next five inside the stately home’s grounds. The Verve gig is set for August 29 but the rest of this year’s line-up has not yet been announced.
