The View speak about US visa trouble

Band deny singer's American ban caused rift

The View have spoken out about their US Visa troubles.

As previously reported the band have twice been forced to cancel their US dates, once in February due to singer Kyle Falconer’s charges for cocaine posession.

Speaking to NME.COM, the group have denied the trouble caused a rift between members Falconer and his best friend and bandmember Keiren Webster.

When asked if the band felt let down Falconer said: “Not at all. They were thankful for the time off.” Webster added that he “wasn’t bothered by it”.

The two also spoke about the first time they met each other.

Webster said: “Kyle was a wee skater boy with a bowl cut. He was running around the school like a psycho listneing to hip-hop.

“He looked like a fucking dick! But he got me into Oasis. That’s where it all started.”

The band are set to to headline the NME/Radio 1 stage at this year’s Carling Weekend: Reading And Leeds Festivals, which take place between August 24-26.
