The View have confirmed details of a UK tour to take place after they release new album ‘Ropewalk’.
The band will release their fifth studio album on September 11 via Cooking Vinyl. It was recorded with producer Albert Hammond Jr of The Strokes and features the single ‘Under The Rug’, also out on September 11.
Speaking about the album, lead singer Kyle Falconer says: “I would say that this record has really taken us out of our comfort zone. It was a huge compliment having Albert & Gus produce the album and we’re really excited with the result. I think it’s our most inventive album yet, we really opened ourselves up to creative possibilities and thankfully the vision paid off. We can’t wait to get out there and play it live…”
Shortly after the release of ‘Ropewalk’, The View will tour the UK.
