The Walkmen announce new album UK release date and free download details

'Lisbon' is due out on October 11

The Walkmen have announced details of the UK release date of their new album ‘Lisbon’.

Already confirmed for release in North America on September 14, the follow-up to 2008’s ‘You & Me’ is due out in the UK through Bella Union on October 11.

Produced by John Congleton, who has worked with the likes of Modest Mouse, The Roots and The Polyphonic Spree, the 11-song album was engineered by Chris Zane (Les Savy Fav, The Rakes and Passion Pit).

The Walkmen are set to play London‘s O2 Academy Islington on August 25, before appearing at this year’s Reading And Leeds Festivals on August 26 and 27.
