The Weeknd releases surprise collaboration with Future

On the twelfth day of Christmas, The Weeknd came through with two new tracks

The Weeknd has released a surprise collaboration with Future and a Jeremih remix.

The ‘Can’t Feel My Face’ star revealed the two new songs in a tweet on Christmas Day linking to his SoundCloud page.

‘Low Life’ is the second time that The Weeknd and Future have appeared on the same track together. The Atlanta rapper also featured on Mike WiLL Made-It’s ‘Drinks On Us’ earlier this year. The track is co-produced by Abel Tesfaye himself, together with Metro Boomin (who also worked on Future and Drake’s collaborative mixtape ‘What A Time To Be Alive’) and Ben Billions.

Tesfaye also dropped a remix of Jeremih’s ‘Pass Dat’, the second track from his long-awaited ‘Late Nights: The Album’.

The Canadian singer released his latest album ‘Beauty Behind The Madness’ in August. The album, which features collaborations with Lana Del Rey and Ed Sheeran, reached Number One in both the UK and US charts. As of December 1, it is also the most streamed album of 2015.

The Weeknd was recently nominated for seven Grammy Awards including Album of the Year and Record of the Year, just short of Kendrick Lamar who leads with 11.
