Jimmy Fallon’s ‘black Simon & Garfunkel’ sing The Weeknd with the real Art Garfunkel – watch

Questlove and Captain Kirk of The Roots recruit special guest for 'Can't Feel My Face' cover

Black Simon and Garfunkel covered The Weeknd’s ‘Can’t Feel My Face’ with special guest Art Garfunkel last night (September 30). See the performance below.

The popular duo, who are played by The Roots’ Questlove and Captain Kirk, cover popular songs in the style of Simon & Garfunkel as a regular feature on Jimmy Fallon’s Tonight Show.

In the past they have provided their take on Daft Punk’s ‘Get Lucky’ and ‘Thrift Shop’ by Mackelmore. However, last night marked the first time they have been joined by one of the duo they are parodying.

The last Fallon sketch to go viral came last month (September) when Lionel Richie helped recreate his 1984 ‘Hello’ video.

Fallon recreated the video in The Tonight Show studio and played the blind girl who sculpts a clay version of Richie’s head in the original. Richie played the clay model in the amusing video, which can be seen below.
