The Weeknd is set to play a special, secret London show next month.
Tickets for the gig – which will take place on July 21 “a short drive from London” – will be given out via a ballot. For more information, visit www.islandrecords.co.uk/the-weeknd. Applicants must be over 21 and apply before July 6 to be in with a chance of winning tickets.
The Weeknd recently released a new song, called ‘Can’t Feel My Face’. Abel Tesfaye performed the song at Apple’s WWDC keynote speech in San Francisco after it had been announced that Apple would be launching their new streaming service, Apple Music.

A version of ‘Can’t Feel My Face’ was leaked earlier this year. The song is a new collaboration with legendary pop songwriter Max Martin, who has previously worked with the likes of Britney Spears, Katy Perry and Taylor Swift.
It was previously reported that The Weeknd was preparing to release a new single, following ‘Earned It’, which reached Number Three in the US.
Republic Records executive Charlie Walk has hinted that a new song will surface in June. Walk recently tweeted, “I just worked out to the craziest @theweeknd song ever. Can’t wait for you to hear it in June!”
Reports followed that The Weeknd would release an entire new album on August 28, however the singer has since clarified on Twitter that “information about my album date is false”.
