'False Alarm' is the second song to be previewed from The Weeknd's new album 'Starboy'

The Weeknd has revealed a second new song from his forthcoming ‘Starboy’ album.

‘False Alarm’ is streaming on Spotify and can be heard here. follows in the dance-led direction of his Daft Punk collaboration, the title track from ‘Starboy’.

Details of who The Weeknd has made the song with have yet to be revealed. The album is due out on November 25, and it’s known that its other producers include Mano, Cirkut, Doc McKinney and Ben Billion$.

The two new songs’ fresh style for The Weeknd follows the ‘Starboy’ video, in which he is shown killing off his persona from his previous album ‘Beauty Behind The Madness’.

At the same time as unveiling ‘False Alarm’, The Weeknd has revealed that he has signed a deal with Puma to launch his first fashion range, Puma XO. The range will be released in 2017, and will include clothes and trainers. In the meantime, he will be one of the ambassadors for Puma’s new ‘Run The Streets’ campaign.

The Weeknd follows Rihanna in signing a deal with Puma. Rihanna launched her first Fenty For Puma range at New York Fashion Week in February, and followed that up on Wednesday (September 29) by appearing at Paris Fashion Week to unveil Fenty For Puma’s second line.

This weekend, The Weeknd will play at Meadows Festival in New York on a bill also featuring Kanye West, Chance The Rapper and J Cole. He will also play on Saturday Night Live tomorrow to launch the show’s new season.
