The Weeknd has released his new album, ‘Starboy’. Stream it online now beneath.

‘Starboy’, Canadian singer Abel Tesfaye’s third studio album, follows 2015’s ‘Beauty Behind The Madness’, 2013 debut ‘Kiss Land’ and the R&B star’s 2012 ‘Trilogy’ of mixtapes.

The record features collaborations with Daft Punk, Lana Del Rey, Future and Kendrick Lamar. Tesfaye described the latter as a “genius” in an interview on Beats 1.

“It wasn’t just a random Kendrick Lamar verse, it was something special because again, I don’t like to say this all the time, but we’ve known each other for a while and it’s crazy how we started connecting on this record,” he told Zane Lowe.

Last week, The Weeknd unveiled two new ‘Starboy’ tracks including the Daft Punk produced ‘I Feel It Coming’.

Speaking about working with the French duo in a recent interview with the Wall Street Journal, he said: “Their studio is like a spaceship, there’s a lot of gear, but the way they make music, the way they explain it, is very cinematic.”

It was revealed earlier this month that the album’s title is a tribute to the late David Bowie. Confirming that the reference is deliberate The Weeknd, Tesfaye said: “I just love Bowie, I think he’s the ultimate inventor.” Watch more tributes to David Bowie in the video below.
