The duo delight fans by playing 'Fell In Love With A Girl' in the style of Joss Stone...

White Stripes’ tour rolled into LONDON last night (January 20) for their biggest UK headline shows to date.

Following Monday’s triumph in Liverpool, the duo played the first of two nights at Alexandra Palace, with support again coming from fellow Detroit scenesters Blanche.

In a subtly different setlist from the night before, they covered Bob Dylan’s ‘Lovesick’ alongside their traditional covers of Dusty Springfield’s ‘I Just Don’t Know What To Do With Myself’ and Son House’s ‘Death Letter’.

They also played a knowing version of ‘Fell In Love With A Girl’ in the same style as the current cover by Joss Stone.

The setlist ran:

‘Black Math’

‘Dead Leaves And The Dirty Ground’

‘I Think I Smell A Rat’

‘Take A Whiff On Me’

‘When I Hear My Name’

‘Ball And Biscuit’

‘In The Cold, Cold Night’

‘Hotel Yorba’

‘I Just Don’t Know What To Do With Myself’

‘I Want To Be The Boy To Warm Your Mother’s Heart’

‘Death Letter’

‘John The Revelator’

‘Same Boy You’ve Always Known’

‘We’re Going To Be Friends’

‘Offend In Every Way’

‘Apple Blossom’

‘Let’s Shake Hands’

‘The Hardest Button To Button’

‘Fell In Love With A Girl’

‘You’re Pretty Good Looking (For A Girl)’

‘Hello Operator’

‘Seven Nation Army’

The duo play a sold-out show at the same venue tonight (January 21).
