'Hotel Yorba', taken from the band's 'White Blood Cells' LP, is issued on Third Man/XL Recordings...

THE WHITE STRIPES release the first single from their ‘WHITE BLOOD CELLS’ album, entitled ‘HOTEL YORBA’, on November 12 on THIRD MAN/XL RECORDINGS, NME.COM can reveal.

Jack and Meg White have also confirmed they will be returning to the UK for dates to coincide with the release, though these have yet to be confirmed.

Third Man, Jack’s own label, and XL also gave ‘White Blood Cells’ a proper release on Monday (September 24), as it was previously only available through import.

The band’s first two albums will also be re-released at a later date. Meanwhile, Jack has also spoken out regarding the speculation to the band’s recent deal with XL.

“One million? We signed for three million,” he said, in what may well have been a joke.
