Jack and Meg resume touring in September...

White Stripes have rearranged the North American summer tour dates they cancelled as a result of JACK WHITE’s finger injury.

The duo, who cancelled their appearance at The Carling Weekend: Reading And Leeds last week after it became clear White’s injury would not heal in time, will resume touring as scheduled on September 13, when they play Berkeley Greek Theater. The rescheduled dates begin on November 10 at Milwaukee Eagles Ballroom.

According to Billboard, the band were able to reschedule all performances on the tour, except shows inNorfolk, Virginia, and Nashville.

Tickets bought for cancelled shows will be valid at all the rescheduled dates except in Camden, New Jersey (which replaces a Philadelphia date) and in Cleveland, where the show has moved from the Tower Amphitheater to the Agora Theater.

White broke his left index finger in three places in a traffic accident in his native Detroit last month (July 9). For the first interview with the star on what happened and the future, get this week’s NME, dated August 9, out now priced £1.60.
