Jack White teams up with Dungen for Third Man records release

Plus White covers Eddie Cochran on US TV

The Jack White-produced single by Swedish psychedelic band Dungen is set to be released on January 24.

The band, fronted by Wolfmother collaborator Gustav Ejstes, recorded two tracks at White‘s Nashville studio after meeting him on a US tour. The single will be released on vinyl through White‘s Third Man Records label, and features the A-side ‘Oga Nasa Mum’, which translates to ‘Eye Nose Mouth’ in English, backed by an as-yet-untitled instrumental.

Laura Marling also recently popped by White’s studio to cover Neil Young’s ‘The Needle And The Damage Done’, which is being released on November 15.

Dungen also tour the UK and Ireland this November, calling at:

Dublin Whelans (November 13)
Birmingham O2 Academy (14)
Manchester Roadhouse (15)
London O2 Academy Islington (16)
