The Who announce European tour

Rock legends visit 28 cities

The Who have announced details of a European tour.

The band will play 14 countries and 28 cities including a headlining slot at Glastonbury Festival, thought to be on Sunday June 24.

In a statement, guitarist Pete Townshend said: “If you want to catch The Who at their most effective for 20 years, come and join us.”

Singer Roger Daltrey said: “It’s great to have been around this length of time and still be playing new material, having it so well received and people liking the music.”

The band’s show at Swansea‘s Liberty Stadium will be the first time a band have played the £25 million stadium.
