Albums and singles released in the UK today

Hotly-tipped New Yorkers The Drums release ‘Let’s Go Surfing’ on seven-inch vinyl today (October 5), while New Order frontman Bernard Sumner‘s new band Bad Lieutenant continue the water theme by unleashing their debut single, ‘Sink Or Swim’.

In the albums world, Air, Mumford and Sons and Lethal Bizzle all release new records this week, alongside Idlewild and The Raveonettes.
