Thurston Moore shares new video for ‘Heavenmetal’ – watch

The Sonic Youth man will release a new album in June

Thurston Moore has shared a new video for ‘Heavenmetal’, reports Consequence Of Sound.

The song was originally released on Moore’s latest band Chelsea Light Moving’s self-titled album last year but is now being listed as a solo track. You can watch the video, which was directed by Julien Langendorff, at the top of the page.

Moore has also confirmed he will release a new solo album this year, with its release scheduled for some time in June. The record will be his first full-length record under the name Thurston Moore since 2011’s ‘Demolished Thoughts’. Further details on the forthcoming album are yet to be confirmed.
