Timothée Chalamet responds to Tyler, The Creator’s ‘Okra’ shout-out

Tyler had rapped: "Tell Tim Chalamet to come get at me"

Timothée Chalamet has responded to Tyler, The Creator referencing him on new song ‘Okra’.

The Odd Future rapper shared the track in question online last week, describing it as a “throwaway song”. It included the lyrics: “Tell Tim Chalamet to come get at me / Skin glowin’, clear of acne”.

Now Call Me By Your Name star Chalamet has responded by retweeting a meme that a fan posted about what his reaction would likely be to the shout-out. It included photos of the actor falling out of his chair. See that below.

As well as the Chalamet shout-out, ‘Okra’ also sees Tyler reflect on the uncertain future of Odd Future: “Man, now they go / I cut off some friends, where they go”.

The song is Tyler’s first piece of new solo material since the release of his fourth studio album ‘Flower Boy’, which came out back in July 2017.

Meanwhile, Chalamet is a known hip-hop fan who has been enjoying a budding friendship with his hero Kid Cudi in recent weeks.

Chalamet recently credited Cudi with saving his acting career, revealing that the rapper gave him some sage advice after a show in 2014.

Cudi later returned the compliment by describing Chalamet as his “favourite artist” of the moment.
