The rapper will appear on the ninth series of the reality show in January
Tinchy Stryder has apparently signed up for the new series of Celebrity Big Brother.
The artist is set to appear on the Channel 5 series, which is due to air in January 2012. According to The Sun, fellow rapper Chipmunk was also approached to take part in the reality TV show, but turned bosses down.
Adverts for the new series have featured EastEnders actor Shaun Williamson, as well as former contestants Amy Childs, of The Only Way Is Essex, Kerry Katona, Jedward and presenter Brian Dowling.
The ninth series of Celebrity Big Brother will begin on January 5 on Channel 5.
Tinchy Stryder is set to release a special single for the 2012 Olympics alongside Dionne Bromfield. The duo will cover Speech Debelle‘s ‘Spinnin”, reworking it as ‘Spinnin’ 2012′, which will be the official song for the London held 2012 Olympic Games.
Earlier this year Stryder told The Sun that he hoped the track would get him tickets to the event, saying “I’d love to watch the men’s 100m final.”
