The two surviving members get on with finishing the record they were making before Lisa 'Left Eye' Lopes was killed...

The surviving members of TLC are back in the studio working on their new album.

Surviving members Tionne ‘T-Boz’ Watkins and Rozonda ‘Chilli’ Thomas are in the studio with producer Kenneth ‘Babyface’ Edmonds on the follow-up to the hugely successful ‘Fan Mail’.

Work was postponed following the tragic death of the third member Lisa ‘Left-Eye’ Lopes, who was killed in a car crash while on holiday in Honduras in April.

Speaking about the latest studio sessions, Edmonds told Associated Press: “There will be ups and downs throughout. There will be times when they’ll feel it more than others. They feel like they are doing it still in spirit with Lisa.”

Lopes had recorded many parts for the album before her death, and she is thought to have chosen the album’s title – although this is currently unannounced.
