Tom Waits to give rare live performance at Bridge School Benefit gig

The legendary singer hasn't performed a live show since 2008

Tom Waits has been added to the line-up of the Neil Young-curated Bridge School Benefit concert.

The legendary singer, who hasn’t toured since 2008, will play a full acoustic set on Sunday, October 27 at the Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View, California. He joins a line-up which includes, Queens Of The Stone Age and The Killers among others.

Announcing the gig on Facebook, Waits said in a statement: “I had every good intention to stay home and work on my JD Salinger Halloween mask, but when Neil told me yesterday he was serving burnt cow’s eyes on a flat tire and it’s all gluten free, I invited myself!”
