Tom Waits to release new three-disc album

He’ll be unleashing the 54-track opus soon

Tom Waits is to release an album of new and rare material.

‘Orphans: Brawlers, Bawlers and Bastards’ runs to over three hours of music and also includes a 94-page booklet.

According to Waits, the album contains “rumbas about mermaids, shuffles about train wrecks, tarantellas about insects, madrigals about drowning. Songs of dubious origin rescued from cruel fate and now left wanting only to be cared for”.

‘Orphans: Brawlers, Bawlers and Bastards’ is released on November 20.
