TRAVIS BASK IN ‘AFTERGLOW’

The group have a title, a producer and a starting date for recording...

Travis will begin recording their new album in October with producer NIGEL GODRICH.

The follow-up to the hugely-successful ‘The Man Who’ will be titled ‘Afterglow’, nme.com can reveal.

The band have earmarked 12 tracks for the new record and it’s likely they’ll include ‘Coming Around’, ‘Safe’, ‘Indefinitely’, ‘Flowers In The Window’, ‘The Cage’, ‘The Humpty Dumpty Love Song’, ‘Beautiful’, ‘Side’, ‘Sing’ and ‘Afterglow’. It’s set for release in April or May next year.

‘Flowers In The Window’ is being tipped for a future single – the track’s been described as being similar to James’ ‘She’s A Star’.

Speaking about the new record, Travis frontman Fran Healy told nme.com: “There are loads of singles on the record. We’re spoiled for choice.”
