Travis, All Saints, MEL C, MOLOKO, RONAN KEATING, ARTFUL DODGER and CRAIG DAVID are amongst the acts set to perform on the first ever live TOP OF THE POPS, to be broadcast from Sheffield on May 29.

Hosted by Jamie Theakston, the hour-long special of the UK chart programme will come from the 11,000 capacity Sheffield Arena and go out live on the BBC1 channel.

Also playing at the show will be Gabrielle, Chicane featuring Bryan Adams, Destiny’s Child, S Club 7 and Fragma.

The show will start at 3pm with the live broadcast running from 4.30 to 5.30pm. It is the first time in the show’s 36-year history that it will have gone on air live.

There will also be two chart rundowns on the day – one of the official UK Top 40, as will be revealed the previous day, and a breakdown of the year’s biggest sellers.
