TRAVIS frontman FRAN HEALY has revealed that he plans to marry girlfriend NORA KRYST in LONDON next year.
In this morning’s (November 27) edition of the Star newspaper the Scots singer says: “We’re planning the wedding at the moment. We’ll do it in London. I’m hoping it will be really quiet, but with a good party. Of course, the band will be there, along with relatives and friends we’ve made – I won’t be getting married in Scotland because I feel like I am based in London now. My home has been in England for four-and-a-half years.”
Fran announced the couple’s engagement from the stage at a gig in LA while on their recent triumphant US tour. Following the dates, the band went into the studio in Los Angeles to work on the follow-up to ‘The Man Who’.
In the interview, he also spoke about looking forward to winding up a year of intensive touring. “I’d like to be able to sit down for an hour a day and watch Frasier and The Simpsons, and there’s quite a bit of DIY I’d like to get done about the house. Then it’s on to doing the new album, touring and playing again. We’ve had such an amazing year. I’m not complaining. It’ll just be great not to be on a bus every night.”
